My cat died. My little, giant arse cat is dead. Born Thursday, 21st October 2011, died Wednesday 30th May 2018. Only six years old and I've had them since he was born (his mother was our cat, don't worry no taking kittens too young from their mothers).
We have lost a pet a year the past three years and really hope it's a trend that doesn't continue, because I went throw a cosmetic fit. We've went from having 3 cats and 2 dogs to a reasonably 2 cats and 1 dog. That 1 dog is also not one of the original two. Do have to change my Instagram to reasonably pet owner instead of "mass pet owner"?
Glasgow Smile died quite unexpectedly. Like he couldn't breath, found in the garden baking in the sun.
Glasgow liked to hide. I think he was hiding in the garden instead of my bedroom because my sister would not leave him alone. Even in his death there's still debate about whose cat he was. The answer is clearly mine. The fact she abandoned her own cat should be prove of that.
Fatykins is dead. I also called him fuffykins and furrykins, but his sister is still those things, while being tinykins. Mandela has been acting strange for her. More affectionate. Lying in Glasgow's typical spaces. His mother does not appear to care.
Losing animals is weird. I still miss my cat Inky and my dog Shep. Even miss Mysti sometimes, even though she wasn't really my dog. I miss Glasgow, I miss his loud purr, his paws, how he pop out of nowhere and rub himself against you and how he would let me hold him like a baby. I still have Leia who lets me hold her like a baby. Glasgow was also the only of the cats that would almost play wit her and sort of liked her. He was only one to be affectionate to her, which makes sense he was a dogcat and she is catdog. Their marking are similar too.
I also immediately came up with morbid jokes immediately, including highlanders jokes as Mandela is the last cat. Humour is how I cope. Also something about time capsule actually being a cat grave that a millionaire has left for children to dig up because he was secretly a dick.
Glasgow purred a lot. Though, I kinda taught him to purr if wanted to be left alone. He also bite as kitten and that didn't work.
I am gonna go now, cause I don't know what I was saying. See you next week and maybe last week.

Book Review: Manfried the Man by Caitlin Major
Wait, till you see my comic of tiny to normal size woman doing dog like things. Wait...Nevermind.
Manfried is a stray taken in by Steve Catson, a slacker with a dead-end job and nonexistent love life. Soon Manfried becomes the Garfield to Steve’s Jon Arbuckle: lazy, selfish, and sometimes maddening in his weird human behavior. Yet the pair depends on each other to get through life’s troubles. When Manfried runs away, Steve musters his meager resources to find his best man-friend and bring him home safe. Ultimately, both Steve and Manfried realize they’re capable of so much more than they thought.
You've probably seen that comic with the mansize cat and the mansize cat sitting on the key board. This is a whole graphic novel with that concept. I was intigued to see what they would do with a full novel of this idea.
The concept is interesting, but not much after that. There's just a not a lot of comical room for cat like creature doing cat things. Attempt is made to do more than just goofy gags.
The plot is quite standard to most Webcomics. Lovable misfit that needs to figure out his life, while friends are more together and judge him, with a cookie twist to get your attention. For those sort of things, this does it well enough. Steve's affection towards Manfried does play a major plot points, mostly him scared he will be a crazy man person.
Some funny moments and gags, mixed in with relatable life stuff.
The art style is nice and the colouring is done well to match scenes. It is a bit disturbing at first to look at tiny penises all the time, and none of the cats wear clothes, their balls are ignore though.
This world has left me with questions. Like they are no tiny female humans so how do they reproduce. It doesn't really matter, but it just a thought in my head. Especially as there are packs of them. I have questions, but I don't think there actual answers to them. I want to see the dogs which exist in this universe but the men are hybrid of both cats and dogs with what they do and how they behaviour. They're lazy, fight like cats but you can train them to do tricks.
Overall, I give this book 3/5 stars for canned hamburgers. I like this well enough, but I don't think I'm invested enough to pick up the sequel. I think it more we're not the right matches for each other, as they nothing I can point to say what wrong with it. If you're interested by the idea, I would say pick up and give it a chance you're self. Maybe not the sequel to this, but I would check out more works by Caitlin Major.

A Bad Week.
It's Saturday, 16th Decembee 2017 and I haven't written a post in months. This has became mostly random book reviews that I fudge the dates on slightly. Still Always Wedesday where as Saturday remains dusty and cold. With very few spiders. I haven't been in the mood to write for a while.
My week has been bad this week. Life has not gone to my plan and death sneaks in at 3pm on Monday. Mysti died unexpectedly. She had a sore on a face, I was going to take a picture but now I can't. Her death is a weird blow in that its not the disvastion of Shep or Inky. First Cat and first companion. Mysti was my dog but she wasn't MY dog in the way Shep was. One of the last things I would have done is stepped into her in the night and sore at as she didn't move. Like Normal.
She didn't eat her dinner which was the only warning her time was coming. She had been like coughing, chocking on nothing a lot but she was fine and she had been doing that for months. She was such a lifeless dog. She was weird for a Border Colie in that she wasn't engeric and never moved when came near her. She would lie in the way and make you climb over her log of a body.
She was fat, study thing. Lying half on her and using her as footstod as she always layed under your feet when you sat on the couch. She didn't care if you sat and poked her.
I don't know how Leia is taking it. Mysti was never the same after Shep died. Two years and she followed him into the grave exactly nine years old. She died on her birthday in her sleep. Shep was almost 15 and he couldn't move, so we had to put him to sleep. He was gone beyond hope, my dad feels guilt about that but I would have felt guilt if it was any other way.
She was left at the vet for blood tests and they found her dead. She was alone and I haven't seen her since she left for the vet which leaves her alive in my head. I'm not sure how its affecting Leia. I think she misses Mysti. She lies in her spot and looks for her at Dinner time (to steal her Dinner). She seems bored a little bit more. She spent hours alone in her bed.
She no longer has someone to lie with blocking the door as bumpy, living rugs.
I also have asbestos in my house. I learnt this from trying to get Key Metre out so I don't have to leave the house as often. I'm now in Limbo but it looks exposed and they put that Key Metre in recently so why was it left? That Metre seems to be eating up money for no reason. I hate it and want it gone.
On the Wednesday, I drove up in the dark with snow, lightinng and the wind. Snow and Wind makes driving a trippy experence. With the ice and country roads makes this dangerous. I drove up to a Midnight Screening to Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
It wasn't worth the difficult trip. It wasn't terrible but it was a let down and some of the choices were bad. I don't think a lot has been left for the next one. I'm just not excited for Ep 9 now. I think a problem is that it took place back to back with the last video which took out protential character and relationship develop that would have really helped the film. I will see the next one. Not that the Han Solo one.
I've just been down generally this week with continuing not to produce anything or reading much. I'm tired as well. Lets not think why that is. It's not fun.

Lost & Found Things
My cat decided to escape on Friday. We spent the day thinking that Glasgow was hiding in the house somewhere. Though, after having searched the entire house for him. It became apparent that the little shit was not inside. My mother who is very panicky about our cats; who are scared of people and cars. She had made me recapture Mandela, the wild hunter of our cats and the first to made to make an escape from a window. I knew that Glasgow would come back once he was hungry. He's that sort of cat.
We drove around the new town-village where we now live looking for him. My mother swears she saw him run into a field behind our house. It was a bird and someone's garden, I know this because I saw the same bird on the way back. My mother gave up after an half hour or so of driving into dead ends of houses that he would never visit.
My mother went into the garden and I went into the house to unlock the backdoor. Something on the floor catches my eyes. Its a picture of Glasgow and standing up I saw the black white figure sitting next to the shed. My mother came in and said he wasn't there.
"What's that behind you then?" were my exact ones. She didn't hear me right and about a minute of me telling her to look behind her she finally sees him in the dying light. She moves back outside and unblocking the door. She stands at the top of the garden as I go to get him. He just sits then till I'm right next to him, then uncharacteristically he walks towards me and I pick him up. I take him back into the house to show that he had returned by himself.
My mother then tried to take credit for finding him there, which was just odd since it took so long for me to get her to turn around and look out the window at him. He left to wander around the house, now having escaped and brought back into my mother's fear.
I have no idea why after almost a month of living here, my mother still won't let the cats out considering that they too cautious of people and cars so unlikely to be caused harm whilst hiding from ducks. She have to let them out soon.
I mean she lets me leave the house and I lost my phone and flat key all on the same day/trip. Yes, dumbest thing I've done this year. I did it on Wednesday. I was in the studio to finally finished filming R & J thing. Still hate Romeo & Juliet, especially with the comedy aspects cut out of it. I realised half way through the session that my phone was missing. The tracking device on my phone (google) told me it was in uni somewhere.
I then went home to see if I had left it at home and see if my phone was there. I then realised I had also lost my keys. They had fallen out of my ripped pocket on the way over. Great day I was having. They both been found by security, so I got them back. Though, one of them was apparently found in the toilet, a place I hadn't went that day.
I had finally found my ipod the weekend before so this all felt I was being taunted. I have dropped my keys and phone before but had been listening to the music on ipod and hadn't heard them drop out of my pocket this time. Its all the ipod's fault. It hid from me and then cause me misery.
Just being dramatic. I left my phone at home yesterday so I have became careless with it. A love affair might be on the way out, especially as it keeps turning its self off.
To summarise the eventfully things of this week: I lose shit and I get it back because I am lucky...in that way. I am finally got my stuff out of the old house except for a half-fridge that I'm not sure what's happening with it. The sheds are an other thing.

The Exit (Short Story) a.k.a. The Accomplishments of this week
So my week without parents is coming to a close. How time flies when there isn't any family members to bug. My parents are coming back late tomorrow now, bring with them my older sister and little brother. The older sister will leave, I will probably leave before my little brother does.
So this week has been productive in terms of video making as I have managed to make a video every day so far this month (Here a playlist of my VEDJ videos). I haven't been that successfully in terms of writing and tidying my room. My room is still quite a state, I have almost finished organising my clothes which is the hardest part of organising my room. For some reason dealing with my clothes really takes a lot out of me mentally and physically. The fact I almost cried about the prospect of putting them away after I had taken them all out is probably indication that I have too many clothes or that it was 3 am and I was pushing myself to get it done. I'll have to finish up tomorrow before my parents get back as my bed is still covered in stuff and I've been sleeping in their bed as my dog is suk who likes soft beds and carpets.
Seriously, I woke up yesterday with him lying on my side of the bed and trying to lick my face. I everywhere I turn he's there as I'm the only one in the house he likes. For some reason he doesn't like my sib, I always wonder why that it is. Though, if I sleep with my door open I might find idiot on top of me more often.
I meant to be doing Camp NaNoWriMo which has been some what of a fail as I've only wrote a thousand and something words. To be honest I haven't been forcus on it much, I just really want to get my room sorted and then I will go back to writing. I'll just have a day where I sit and forus myself to write until I get the words out of me.
So till then I leave you the short story I did managed to write. I rather like it.

The Exit
I find her in the woods. I go to her as woman: older than
her mere teen years, but not mother figure. A sister if anything because she’ll
need someone who won’t coddle her but will hold her hand. Someone she’ll trust
and not see as a threat.
She stands looking down at what remains of her violated
body. They are others young who suffered worst, but I’m still saddened. I’m
always saddened by unnatural deaths. To have life taken from you is a terrible
thing. Though, I’ve never had it to know.
She feels my presence and turns towards me. I’m glad that
came to her from the side, so we won’t
have to walk through the remains. I offer out my hand, she goes to takes it but
stops and looks back down.
“Why did he do it?” she asks sounding even more like the
child she is. Once upon time, a girl her age would have died in childbirth
to her seconded children. I have come for many a child with their own baby.
There so rarely ever talk and I’m never sure what to say to
them when they do.
“That’s not my job to tell you,” I say because it all I can
say. I don’t pretend to know why humans hurt each other, even after all these
millenniums, the only other answer I could give her was that he’s sick and
that’s not what she wants to hear right now. It’s only my job to show them to
the exit.
She stands in silence for a few of their minutes. I step towards her and take her arm gently.
“It’s time to leave this
place,” I whisper to her. I don’t want to leave her, I hate leaving them to
find their own way there.
“I don’t want to go,” she
weeps. Even though her body and its water have gone, she forms her tears. The
crier always do, it’s something their souls learned to do in life. I stoke the tears from her face, maybe I was
wrong not to come as a mother.
“You can’t and don’t want to
stay here,” I say to her. When I leave them they always wander confused,
unhappy.
“What about my mum? I’m all
she has,” she whimpers.
“You’re be lost to her if
you stay,” I say it, but I’m not sure it true. She could already be lost. I don’t know anything about what’s behind the
exit, just that I have to bring them to it and I will never past it myself.
She pulls away from me; she
walks to the other side of her body.
“Do you’re think they’re
find me?” she asks me. I look around at
all the livers crowded around us. They clearly already have. The dead and
livers never notice each other. I do my best to ignore the livers as there are of no
importance to me.
“I’m certain they will,” I
say as a policeman pushes his way through the crowd. The search group actually found her before I
arrived. They need time to adjust before the exit.
“Good,” she briefly smiles,
before it’s vanishes quickly. She offers out her hand. I smile at the gesture
before taking it. I let her leads out
the woods before guild her to the exit. It’s important she leaves somewhere
other than the place she was forces out.
The exit is everywhere and
anyway. I take her to the park where she played as small child and had her
first kiss as an older child.
“Will you come with me?” She
asks as she feels the exit open.
I want to say yes, I always
want to say yes. To the toddlers who have never across anyway without someone; to those
who are too scared to go themselves; to those who don’t ask. She still too wary
to go anyway herself. She learnt that lesson.
“I can’t,” I say simply. “I
watch till you go through.
“Thanks,” she says. I smile
at strangeness of being thanked for my simple job. There always a few who do. She leans in and kisses me on the
lips. She brushes them slowly, I decide to kiss back. I’ve been kissed before.
On the check by children, on the hand by gentlemen; being kissed this way is
very rare and I’m not sure when it will happen again.
She pulls away smiling at
me, I smile back.
“I wanted my last kiss, I
mean before I went to be nice,” she playing with the long hair I had decide on.
“It was lovely.”
We stand for another of
their minutes before she speaks again.
“I have to go now, don’t I?”
I just nod and she walks
through the exit as I watch her.
I leave to the next soul, happy
knowing my decision to come as young woman was right.
