Time is Moving

Life is something I should be living.

I miss the cinema.  The cinemas are open but I am scared to go, especially since the rates are rising again. I'm really worried about not getting to see Wonder Women II. Maybe it's release will be delayed again and now having looked it up. It has been delayed for Christmas, 25th actual Christmas day which an odd choice for the sort of film that usually has a midnight release. That probably not gonna happen so Santa won't be missing out. It's actually boxing day which I doubt I'll be there for opening day.

I never finished a post last week. Time is also getting away from me which doesn't help. I want to finish my film watching project this month, at least stage 1 of it. I have ten films left so it's not likely to happen but the project deadline is next year anyway. I've seen some good films doing this, but also a lot of shit films that make me question a whole gender.

I do love films and there's worth in them. But watching films from decades ago where the only diversity comes from a white woman and making the choice not to watch the film of a known groomer is not fun. Cis Men need help, especially the ones of the 80s.

I'm off because I have sixty films to watch.

Postponed Murder

Going through the process of re-watching childhood nostalgia. 'Murder, She Wrote' and 'Lilo and Stich' the TV series. One is definitely more entertaining than the other to re-watch as an adult. I've been watching 'Lilo and Stitch' as background noise while I'm trying to go to sleep or play a game. Definitely, not something that can hold my full attention again. I don't think I had ever watched the full series, definitely all the films at one point.

Murder, She Wrote is nostalgic because it was always on before or after CBBC section was on. With Diagnose Murder as well. I think Murder she wrote was on before and then Diagnosed Murder and maybe it was on BBC Two and would switch between them during the bad kid shows.

Got more into Bullet Journalling, started a TV/Film one to document my splints and my Film watching project. So far it's just TV ones but I plan to add my Film watching project. Not going that great because a lot of them are impossible to find. I have started a LetterBoxd account. I still keep a Bujo note of the films I watch but it might be good as a digital one when I don't the immediate time to document in my Bullet Journal.

Eurovision should have been tonight. I missed the start (17 minutes) of Eurovision: Europe Shine a Light On, I was too caught up on murder. I'll probably download and watch incase it was something decent I missed. Probably not much if it's pasted winners singing in their gardens.  I wonder if Junior Eurovision will happen in November.

I never go why people complained about Australia being in Eurovision when Israel has been in and clearly not being in Europe for years and being an awkward sticking point.

This is depressing. I wish they had shown the songs on the TV instead of doing a Livestream on YouTube. Our song was called 'My Last Breath'. That's depressingly fitting.

I'm now doing six things at once. Watching TV, Knitting, reading and Writing. Successfully, not really. I have too many things to do at once all the time. So I'm off to find another project somehow.

My Favourite Reviewer

You all be delighted to know that have been given an interview date. Next week so that's that post sorted. I have had clarification on something that makes it so much harder. Online it says to write a review on a film, so I have been thinking about it in the back of mind. However, on the letter that I got the mail, it says to analysis my favourite film or TV Programme, so obviously, now I have no favourite films or TV shows.

Seriously, all I can think of is Beauty and the Beast (1991) and wrote half analysis. I can talk about the mise-en-scene and the Hero's journey. A bit of Femaleist film theories.

Disney has actually gotten worst about female agency/ just having femme characters. Beauty and the Beast has four named female characters. The Little Mermaid technically wins with nine, but only has two that have anything to do with the plot, surrounded by the six toxic masculine characters that have major scenes in the film. Comedy relief is always male.

I generally suck sometimes at talking about why I like something, I can tell you when something is bad and why. When something works it works,

I have a million things to do and feel like crap because I finally washed my carpets over the last two days. The Carpet cleaner is really good, but it's heavy. It needed to be done because a certain puppy went through a phase of doing the toilet on the carpet rather than the mat for some reason in my house. Still not fully house trained, but he strictly does by the back door now. He did pee outside today which is something. Once summer full comes then its outside or nothing. He's already too old to be using mats.

I also tried the carpet cleaner on my mattress, because a certain other dog pees herself when she asleep. I don't why she does it. I thought it was linked to her being in heat but she dressed now so I don't know It seemed to work. It can be used on furniture but it said nothing about mattresses. Though, it does make me want to start a bit about how you should wash your mattress every month or something. My life hack is always have two mattress protectors if have one for a likely repeatable event.

I need to finished review thing for the Thursday, I need to edit a video for tomorrow and do captions for that. I want to write and get better planning with videos. My house is a state and I need to walk the Chaos Goblins more. I'm just really tried, also I like to read, have I been doing that.

I have decided to Self-published a project which I tweet about specifically say I could make own cover but would need an editor and got several desperate tweets offering cover making services. Desperate and illiterate, which is surprising as twitter is fully about reading and writing words.

My Favourite Horror

Hello, I'm writing this while listening to 'My favourite Murder' its a comedy podcast talking about real life murders/crimes. If you've been subjected to my jokes about murder and death then you're not surprised that I like this podcast and recommend it. They are entertaining if not totally accurate in their storytelling. I don't really have a favourite murder, H. H. Holmes' murder hotel probably is it because it is insane that he almost got away with that. Its the mix creepy building and serial killing that makes it interesting. They making a film, the set design should at least be good.

I finally made it to British Cinema for Horror Week where we went over vampires. I feel like I should now not show up for any of the class. Yep, just here for horror and my own kind. I really wish I had made it last week, but oh well. Also found out my lecture knows my name and for some reason I am alarmed by this. I rather be anonymous when my crimes come to light. I know I should make joke confessions on the internet but I would lose so much of my comedy. Lets leave this thoughts here.

Glasgow is back in the house on medication. It was a worrying time, but he appears to peeing again...by peeing on me because he dislike Leia's attempt at play. She has yet to understand that the cats are not friends, nor are they likely to be friendly towards her. He is grumpy boy hiding behind the couch.

I have decided to be a Producer for uni course due to not having a story I wanted to do (I had ideas but they not ready to be born into a pitch yet). I should have probably pitch in the pursuit of making myself do uncomfortable things, but oh well. Some of the ideas are intriguing, some were problematic. The one I'm producing could be problematic but I'm going to do my best to make sure its not.

Shockingly a secret ep of 'Sherlock' did not play last week and its existence has finally been denied, along with the Queerbaiting..right...Glasgow kissing with longing looks never happened. Apple Tree Yard was boring Heterosexuality stuff then horrible trigger warning events so I won't be watching it again. The set up doesn't make me think it will be dealt with well so I won't be watching any more of it. Doesn't make me want to read the book now either.

I really hate driving, especially in Scottish Weather. I drove through ice, fog at night where I could not see anything but the slight lines of the road, hail/snow that due to the wind looked like optical illusion. Also I probably need new tires but I would have to talk to someone other my parents to fix that. So lets just die instead.

With that note, I just shall leave you this week in favour of staring at the cellar...I mean celling. I don't have a cellar. I don't. FAREWELL.

*Flees into the night.*

Falling Dimension

I haven't forgot about you. I have given up the pretence that I have been writing posts every week. Its not a lack of having anything to say. It isn't even that I haven't had time. I've just been life writing stump where I go to write and then get stuck. I'm back to writing reviews by forcing them out with the Knowledge that I'm current;y sitting on the number of reviews that are left in the year. But I have wrote the ones enough the rest of November so November will have reviews for the rest of the year.

I will make myself write the reviews for the rest of the year. The terrible thing is the one I have negated to write for almost ten months. I might leave it for last for kicks. Uni is still going. Making films and learning about film. I got taught about Sigmund Freud's theory about men having a fear being castigated because women don't have a penis therefore it was cut off. Yeah, literally no idea what that has to do with horror, which what we were meant to be learning about. I mean Freud has been mostly discredited and is the one with the mother issues. Mutilation of the genitalia is horrifying, but I don't think Freud's theory should be taught in any class, unless it directly influences a film. We also watched the Psycho remake It is god awful. He mess up the iconic scene so much. I know everyone knows the twist by now, as it is a iconic film and has had a massive influence, but that doesn't mean you give up on it if you going to go to the effect of a remake.

I honestly don't get what Freud's theory about Castration anxiety had to do with the appeal of Horror. He's came up before in another class, though that was the ego and the id which are probably nonsense but is fiction not all nonsense. That being said I don't want to be taught seriously the theories of a man who thought all women wanted to be men and that everyone fancies their mothers. Penis Envy is not a real thing. Yes, they are transgender men but no one thinks that a penis was taken from them at birth. Oh, it would blown his mind to know that in fact we start out we all start out as female in the womb. It is just Freud pushing his own, sexist ideas on other people.

That was weird route to go down. Have you missed the nonsense of my own brain? The world has became more horrifying since we last spoke like this. Clowns attacking people and Lex Luther is on his way to be president, with no Batman or Superman. We live in a terrible dimension. I would like to collide with another dimension at this point.

I recently came to the realisation I don't really know what horror is in the written form. Horror in film is obvious due it format. Horror in books, especially as supernatural and thrillers are their own genres in books and I am immune to fake fear apparently. People tell me that they find films I find laughable scary. I can't even see it.

In summary I'm making a horror film and I don't know if its going to be remotely scary. But it will follow the format. I'm running out of things to say so I shall leave now. I am here and on the YouTube. See me there.

I make plans for rejects

After months of confusion, frustration and being idiot, I have finished my portfolio and if asked for a portfolio from any of my other universities then I have something to throw at them even if it's shit.

I think it's terrible. I fall out of love with my creative film once I haven't seen it for a while, and then I hate it because what I was thinking. It's not terrible, I'm just so panicked by this whole process and I don't feel like I've sent in things that I want to be judge by but I didn't think I could send in my best work. Not that its that good either.

Eight or ten people get in and it's Edinburgh. People claim it's the dream to go there for some reason. Their visit wasn't great. Besides sheer title, I don't get why? Edinburgh is so expensive to live in. Also I think I might secretly still want to go to Edinburgh but the logical side my brain has decided that I shouldn't, as the chances of getting in are so slim and I don't have a lot of detail about it. The course structure doesn't sound completely right for me. But it would be cool to TV in consideration when studying. My point is, that I really didn't want to go why did I get so stressed about it. It should have just been me throwing something together in case. Edinburgh just doesn't make a good backup.

God, I need make more but real life or the confinement of my room makes it hard. Got my first job reject of the year. Though, I never sent a proper C.V. which I should have thrown together considering I have like usefully job skills. I should update it and start throwing them at shops and cafes.

I would like some magical money right now just so I could run away to my mind. I am a dumb arse with money and shouldn't be trusted with access to booksellers when I'm in this sort of mental state.

I have this strange paranoia that my potential universities might Google me. I know they won't and also if they Google only my first & last name, I won't come up. Yes, I have of course googled myself. It's interesting to see what comes up. It disappointing that my blog is so down the list now when I search Rachel Verna.

I had power out on Wednesday night, just imagine the horror that would have been if it happened on a Monday night. I had brought candle holders and a candle recently so they came in handy. If you live in the country then candles and something to start a fire is something you need to have in your house. Because even after the did work on it due to most of the regional having no power for days and even weeks in some cases last year. We were trapped in the house on Thursday by the snow that had knocked out the power so I never I went to college this week which is bad since I have missed few classes to due to illness and being sleep deprived. I'm having a flaw up and my limbs have been falling asleep and feel numb.

By the way, the dream story is not dead. I haven't gave up on it. It just been on the back burner for obvious reasons. I'm not promising anything about when it will be up, as I have lot of other things to do (in fact it's a proper stressful list) but I will post another creative story next week.. On the plus side, I have had a review up so far every Wednesday of this year and the next two Wednesdays are accounted for. I just really felt like talking to about this uni thing, even if it's a rambled mess.

P.S. I still want a fake life-size Skeleton and not found a good one to dream after.

Film and Words

I wrote this before I left for Flordia and as I went on The Great Movie Ride at Disney this week, so topical, so you can have this while I procrastinate in the sun. I should always be writing or studying.

Films and Words

Why is it so hard to say why you want to do something? I want to study film and literature because I love both on different levels. They both forms of storytelling, but not the same at all.  Film is the visual with spoken dialogue, whilst books are all words (unless graphic) where the characters should speak for themselves. The things that work in TV and Film wouldn’t necessary work in written form as it wouldn’t be enough to just describe a visual gag and some book should never ever be even attempted into film, where they are most of the point is lost.

The spirit of the book should fly on to the scene. You hardly ever see that, instead you get mutilated characters that you don’t recognised until their name is spoken and you still dumbfound. The plot is scraped down too much and the executives have won because they trick into buying a ticket. So more films are “inspired” by books that probably should never been even attempted to be compressed into 90 minutes on the scene. Even an hour more isn’t enough and then the film is too long to comfortably sit.

As for a film being adapted into a book; whoever picks up the novelisation, knowing it based off the film without already having seen the film?

Sometimes the film does capture the book. It will catch people and bring new listener to the story that they would have walked pasted the book. That it actually does justice. While missing the detail of character thought and depth that film just doesn’t have the time to swim to, you leave filled that a story has been told and told well.

Both should leave you thinking and really great ones leave impacted that you stumbled on in years to come and still connect with that story. It formed you in a way.

I like criticising things.  I jump to the critical and maybe that’s why writing about my passion for these forms of storytelling has been so hard.  Because writing a personal statement is like adapting yourself for the screen; only you know that you have leave the bad parts out, trying to get approved for a G. Being told that you shouldn’t try and explain yourself. That for the marketing team to do, or in this case your reference.  But that’s not fair, as marketing weren’t there as that path was chosen so they don’t know what factors lead you down it. They only know what you are by surface level and don’t have time to dig. So you end having blind faith or you tell them and then what was point?

I want to make films because I want to tell stories that don’t get told, or if they do get told they get told wrong by those never learned to tell them right. When I was first started writing I was only interested in fantasy and horror but now I want to sneak those stories into my writing. Good characters are themselves stories.

Tramatic Open days

I went to an Open day for one of the university I'm interesting in attending. It was a problematic process getting there. I had to get up at 3.40 to catch the bus to get there. However, I only fell asleep at 11pm something and somehow slept through my alarm. Actually, I think I turned it off in my sleep. I'm a person who does that.

So we missed the first bus, we just missed the seconded bus because I had confused its time with the first bus we had missed. So we chased the bus and finally caught up with it an hour later. Way to go us.

Once we finally got into the city, we had to find where we were going as we first came across the the uni library and thought it was where we were meant to be. It wasn't there probably should have signs to point you in the right direction, considering they knew people would be visiting from different places and not know the city at all. Frankly, I don't know the street name for the nearest town to where I live.

I had a terrible hot chocolate and we eventually found the right building. We wait in line for a while, but due to it being "Over-subscribled" my mother couldn't go into the talk with me (I had to actually send her away.) I found out the horrifying fact that the course apparently only has 8-10 people on it. Small she said. Someone asked how many people apply and the tutor refused to answer. She said she didn't want to horrify us. Well, too late because there was more than ten people in the room and that talk had been given two times already (on another open day) and there was another that day. That probably 100-160 people who at at least showed up to the open day for the course. That information alone is horrifying. I really don't get why that would put people off applying or making that journey.

OMG, 10 people is tiny. Also they like having a lot of international students. HAHAHA *laughs manically whilst rocking self forward and backwards for hours*

Still applying because there isn't another good option anyway. Who knows I might be in that ten. *laughing and rocking begins again* I once won a contest for my drawing of my dream room and who knows how many probably didn't enter that.

The worst part is I was already anxious about my portfolio. I have footage but nothing edited. I have a few ideas but not sure if any of them are good. I know what I want to do and I know its a competitive industrial but I didn't think the training would be that competitive. It was my favourite but I can't honestly plan to get in. It's contest and who knows what they will think of me.

I guess the worst part of creative careers is that any rejection is a rejection of your soul. * The laughing and rocking begins again but tears are clear to falling down checks*

I have the writer answer of saying it's all experience to draw on. *a single tear escapes this time, hints of past trauma*

I also got a grant for driving lessons and tests so YAY! Booked my theory test so that's happening. I brought things I shouldn't of have today. I've also decided not to make BookTube videos (the video even went up saying so) for a while, I just don't to have that self inflicted pressure to create when I have more important pressure to create something I could use as a portfolio.

Now I'm off to make a Big Tall Wish and try my best to believe in magic.

Lazy Accomplishments

Haló people, so another week has passed and I have accomplished very little. It's been a rather bad reading week. I have kept with the videos everyday. I've had a few ideas that I never ending up doing, such as doing a draw my life; I started writing it and it got really depressing. My cat died, school was depressing and the only happy thing was Florida so I kinda gave up on writing it. Maybe attempt it again some day but not this VEDJ. I have idea of doing stories with pictures drawn on on white board with me narrating the story. It's needs work so it won't work for tomorrow.

Tomorrow's video ended up me attempting to get drunk. I have over hour of footage that I need to go through and make into a decent length video. Well, that was what tomorrow's video was meant to be but I got sick of editing that video and I wanted to go to bed (and then I realise I hadn't finished writing this). I ended up putting a clip from the filming of that video up that didn't work for the video (mainly cause it got really long).

Exciting news in terms of saving, I never spent any money last week. I mean I never left the house either and I steal the food my parents buy. I'm the healthy sort of person that can get away with eating one meal a day.

I'm the idiot that forgot to talk about Camp NaNoWriMo. I just remember about it as I was writing about not spending anything. That what Sunday's video should have been. I guess I could change it in a panic but l'm not sure I have a lot to say about it. I can just post something about it once I know that I've started it. I forgot I should probably go sign up for next month session especially since it starts in 2 days time. Hell, maybe this be the one I actually stick to and win that now that I'm one video away from completing VEDJ.

Though, July does have more pressing issues that I have left to sit at the back of my mind for most of the past 2 years. I have yet to edit anything that I could use as my Film portfolio. I have stuff filmed but it a lot of footage to go through. Doing this VEDJ has focused me to edit at least three 20 plus minutes videos that I've had to scan through a lot of footage to do so I done it for least.

Also I now have accessed to sound effects and music to soundtrack my videos thanks to YouTube. It's definitely new feature that I prove of, except for people are now randomly putting music in talking videos.

I have nothing to add for now so I'm leaving you for bed.

Univeristy Thoughts (I'm so lonely).

My parents have this concern if I go to uni I'll be rather lonely. I don't share this concern that much since there is always phones, skype, Facebook and other wonders of the internet. I mean there lots of ways that I can keep in touch with my family. Sure I might end up being lonely but I'm already lonely where I am.

Family is great and all however none of them really share the same interest with me. I have no real friends down here. Anyone I get friendly with, has this tendency of moving away. Most of my friendships have ended with a moving van (and no none of them were ran over by a van). I still friends with them on Facebook which I would still be able to do if I moved across the country.

I think my parents are so concern I do what my brother did. Sure, I do have a history of avoiding school but most of those times was caused by other factors. I'm applying for something I like, I'm not just settling for being offer to be. Sure, there is university that my parents would be prefer be to go to cause they're closer to home or other family members live near there but I'm not going let geography define what I do for the four years of uni (It might end up being 3 years of uni). Frankly I've already made that mistake.

My parents have this double standard of saying that worry about me if anything was to happen to them because they don't think I'm independent enough. I don't know if they're just lumping me in with young half of their children. One of the reasons I think going to uni would be good for me is that it would force me to be independent. I would have to learn to survive on my own, but in more of a safe environment than just randomly moving to another city.

I know there's not a lot stuff that I do for myself. I don't do the ironing because I suck at it and have no need to learn to be better. I don't do the general cleaning of the rest of the house. Yes, I hover but with 5 hairballs of pets that always going to be a losing battle. I don't how to use a washing machine, the one time I tempted it I dye some of my clothes and probably damaged the others. I also don't buy my own food. Though, I live in a house where food tends to become life for another organism before any humans get to it.

I just hate where I live, I guarantee that I won't be living down here as soon as I can afford to live by myself. Mainly, because there not a film industrial of any kind. Sure, films have been filmed around here but not regularly. Even in terms of writing, this place just makes me unhappy and there nothing here for me but depressing sites. I basically want to leave so I never run into someone from I know every time I go out.

I just hate it here and it feels like I'm always about to spill into depression around here. My parents bring up these points. Going uni is already a scary notion, it been 4 years that I've wanted to go to uni and I haven't backed down. I'm sick of uni seemly like a pipe dream. I know it going to be hard for me to get in because life hasn't been fair. However, I'm not going to stop that from stopping me for going for it.

I want to study Film and English. I don't care if those are hard jobs to get into afterwards. Someone does do them and maybe I'll be one of those people.

Ben Affleck is next Batman (like it or not) a.k.a why I don't care if there is ever Live-Action Justice League film

So on Thrusday, like any swinging Twenty old (fuck...I'm old), I was fighting sleep while in bed so I could finish my dinner. I woke hours later to a dead laptop, the aptapter had once again had fell out. Once retiving the adptapter from the floor and I turned my laptop back on. I of course went streight on to Tumblr and on the Batman tag (as I have been craving Batman...and superman slash). I was greeted with the news that Ben Affleck was annonanced to be playing Batman in the next Superman film. I just shrugged, wrote a respondse of some sort -"Ben Affleck, can't be worse than Val Kilmer"-and went on my dash to tumblr bit.

Started to feel something simailar panic which I ignored, I went downstairs to get something to drink, stole a can off my dear mother. All the while flashes of Ben Aflleck appear in my brain, just absently trying to picture him as Batman. I couldn't really, so pushed that thought aside.I then came back up stairs and ate cold beans. Then panic came.

I know you shouldn't judge an actor until you see them in the role, but I just can't visualise him as Batman or Bruce Wayne at all. Some people seem able to do so, however I just don't think he has the right look for Bruce Wayne. Though, it said Batman apparently only going to be in the movie for twenty minutes so I really doult Bruce Wayne come into it much unless they have the whole bumping into each in their alterergos. It such a cliche but it one writers seem hard to fight going by offical stuff and fanfiction. Also I love the whole Batman and Superman hating each (at first) while Kent and Wayne lov- liking each other. Or maybe it just be Bruce Wayne on the cover of a newspaper.

I just can't see this going well and I can totally seeing Affleck doing a DareDevil and not I don't mean a bad performance. I actually like that film but I don't know maybe it went stupidly against the comics like the Catwoman did. Now that was a fucking weird (and just plain stupid at times) film. I mean Affleck desannoance that film because people didn't like it. You can't do that. Frankly, I think you should stand by your films. Affleck just seems like a bit of a dick as well. He just not very likable, a.k.a has no charm which is another reason he would make a bad Batman.

I don't know. I guess all this means that I'm not at all excited for the live action Superman/Batman action. I haven't actually seen the new Superman film, I was going to go see it at the cinema but ended up just not going. I'll buy it on DVD anyway where it can join my good Batman films (and Batman Forever). I know everyone wants a live action Justice Film, I just don't care about the live action. I like the DC animations, I mean DC cartoons are so much better than Marvel's. I generally don't like Marvel at all, I think they just make tons of films and a few evenually have to be discent. Also they just reboot everything: Spiderman and Hunk for example.

In fairness, DC/Warner Bros. have made questionable decision and have shot themselves in the foot a few times with their films. I mean trying to make Batman less dark is obvious a big one. Anyway not every Comic character needs a film. They need a TV series of some kind. Just look at Green Arrow.

Anyway, we all know the best Batman ever is Kevin Conroy.

The world we live in

I suppose this is a post similar to a lot of Comic and Film Fanatic (is that bad choice of words?), that are saying that the Aurora Batman theatre shootings has very little to do with Batman, because frankly it doesn't. When I saw the news about it on Twitter waking up, it must have actually been mere hours after it happen, my first thoughts were please don't let this effect Batman or the Dark Knight Rises. Not sure if that insensitive to the victims and their families.

It's just I'm a strong believer that media of any forms does not truly influence people to do horrible things since these horrible things have been happening since history started. There may be different weapons or ways of attack, but there all unjustified. I'm not talking about "Acts of War", I referring to the terrible things that people have always done to their neighbours and fellow humans. In this century and the last, it has became common practice to blame the media for our problems, including real violence.

I'm not saying that media is never linked to these acts of violence, I'm just saying that a non-stable person who is prone to violence, will always be prone to it whether or not they subjected to violence in the media. From the perspective of a Batman fan, before hearing anything about James Holmes claiming to be the Joker, I honestly thought doesn't he have the wrong movie, random shooting is more the Joker's thing than Bane's. So I saw the link there. Even with that, The Dark Knight or any thing involving Batman is never meant to make the Joker appear desirable. He has to be one of the saddest Batman characters. Batman has always been about facing fears and standing against the common evil of the world.

I've got to say the saddest thing about the Theatre shooting is that it not shocking. From a non-American point of view, we heard about random shooting happing in America all the time, that in a lot of ways its one of America's Stereotypes. That they're gun wielding manic acts and those who ain't are all fine about it. Obviously, that isn't true and random shooting have happen in Britain but I only really know of one that is similar to this one and it happened decades ago.

Sometimes it just becomes more apparent what a horrific world we live in, we can only do our best to prevent and purished these acts, but most improtantly continue to live through them.

I'll still be going to see "The Dark Knight Rises", though my excitement for it has been tainted.
